ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This trainer aircraft has been built for Czech Air Force in 1952 and forwarded to the Egypt Air Force in 1959. The aircraft was flown by an Egyptian Air Force officer to Israel in 1964, where it has been stored until 1976.

In 1978, the collector Robs Lampslought bought this Yak-11. It was partly overhauled in Duxford until 1981 and remained under UK registration until 1992.

The aircraft was registered in France as F-AZHQ and F-AZQ from 1992 to 2008, before joining back the UK register as G-KYAK in 2008.
